Willie J. Nelson, 96, of North Branford, entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1929 in Uriah, Alabama.

Willie was predeceased by his cherished wife Suzanne V. Nelson. Loving father of Michelle A. Nelson, William R. Nelson, Meagan L. Jamison, Jillian E. Nelson. Beloved grandfather of Trevelle Q. Nelson, Julisse A. Nelson, Samara A. Mitchell, Billy Nelson, Conner Nelson, Destiny Nelson, Terrance M. Lilly, and Matthew Nelson.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gambling, but what Willie loved the most was spending time with his family.
