Shaneese Yvette Regine Ladson lived in New Britain, CT and died peacefully in her sleep on January 15 ^th , 2021 at the age of 43. Shaneese was predeceased by her mother Beverly Ladson, her maternal grandfather Calvin Cox, and her brother Luis Nichols. To carry on her loving memory, Shaneese leaves behind her father Henry Ladson of Georgetown, South Carolina, her maternal grandmother Ruth Cox, siblings Shawn Blowes, Shannone Pettie, Shayna Williams, Shallen Williams Wallace, Joey E. Ladson, Valerie Ladson Tanner, Helena Ladson Lademo, Alan Ladson (Robin), John Ladson and Felicia Rumley, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Shaneese was prematurely born in New Haven on December 8 ^th , 1977 to Henry and Beverly Ladson. Shaneese attended Jackie Robinson Middle School and at age 13, she was highlighted for her role on a Double Dutch team that made headlines and garnered media attention. Shaneese graduated from James Hillhouse High School in New Haven and went on to earn multiple certificates in the health care field, including pharmacy technician, CPR, and CNA. Shaneese enjoyed many years of service working for Super Kmart, Yale New Haven Hospital and was most recently employed at Randstad.

Shaneese was a beloved member of her family and adored music, dancing, laughing and caring for others. Shaneese was a hard worker who was very active, social, outgoing, friendly and she never met a stranger.

Calling hours will be held from 4pm – 5pm on Wednesday January 27 ^th , 2021 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, located on 1300 Dixwell Ave in Hamden, CT. A private service will be held immediately after, and will be streamed for public view. Facial masks and social distancing are required.
