Ruth D. McCall age 91, a former long time resident of North Haven Ct., passed away at her residence in Port Leyden N.Y. on Thursday October 24, 2019, while under the loving care of her family. She was predeceased by her husband of sixty years, Donald J. McCall. Ruth was born in Westerly, Rhode Island, on July 2, 1928 and spent most of her childhood in New London Ct. She was the oldest daughter of Horace and Ruth Thompson Dunning. Predeceased by her sister Elsbeth. On February 12, 1949 She and her husband were united in marriage at the University of Connecticut campus chapel. They moved to North Haven to raise their family. For many years Mrs. McCall worked as a floral designer. She is survived by her 3 sons, Douglas (Lynn), Craig (Connie) and Gordon (Phyllis) who blessed her with grandchildren and great grand children.

Calling hours will be held at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue Hamden, Ct. on Wednesday evening from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
