Loving Mother of Angelina (Joseph) Tomanio of Milford, Vincent (Sandra) Gulisano Sr. of Arizona, and Charles Gulisano Jr. of Hamden. Cherished grandmother of Katherine Tomanio of Cheshire, Elizabeth Tomanio of Hamden, Samantha (Kevin) Hernandez, Lindsay (Matt) Fishman both of California, Vincent (Haley) Gulisano Jr., and Andrew (Taylor) Gulisano both of Arizona. Survived by her aunt Josephine DeFranco, her nephew Michael (Wendy Papa) and their children, three sisters-in-law, Anna Ferrante of New York, Carmel (Antonio) Valentino of Hamden, and Josephine Marra of West Haven; brother-in-law Peter Girotto, sister-in-law Roseann Gulisano both of West Haven. Rosina Gulisano grew up in Manhattan, NY with her brother Sam Papa before marrying her husband Charles and moving to Connecticut in the early 1960s. Rosina was first and foremost a loving mother, spending her time raising her three children, becoming an inspiration to her six grandchildren, and now her eight great grandchildren, the last of which was born this very weekend. Besides enjoying her family, Rosina loved music and dancing, partaking in both at every family event. Rosina volunteered at Whitney Manor Nursing Home for several years and loved to give inspirational speeches at important family gatherings.
The family wishes to thank the team at Orange Health Care Center and Constellation Hospice for their loving and supportive care.
