Robert (Bullet Bob) William Pilletere, 57, of Meriden Connecticut passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. Born on September 16, 1967 in New Haven CT to the late Louis and Ruth (Lines) Pilletere.

Robert had many hobbies. He enjoyed playing darts. His team considered him the "heartbeat of the team." Robert also was a duckpin bowler for many years. He coached hockey, football, and baseball during his time at Hamden high school. Robert was a huge wrestling fan and could talk about Star Wars for hours on end. His favorite sports teams were the Giants, the Yankees, and the Rangers. He enjoyed playing video games with his nieces and nephews.

Robert is survived by his sister, Nancy and brother-in-law Harold Estes. His niece Krystal Ritchie. His nephews Conrad (Heather) Estes and Lawrence (Chrystal) Rashba. His great nieces and nephews as follows: Adaja and Larry Rashba, Morgan, Alexander and Ashlyn Ritchie, and Nolan Estes. He is also survived by his heart sisters, Liz (James) Hurley and Jenn (Dale) Mcpherson along with many honorary nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second mom Aunt Dorothy Greene.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Hamden Plains United Methodist Church on 15 Church St., Hamden, CT. Respects are at 10 AM with services at 11 AM.
