Ramon Luis Muñoz Ayala

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramon Luis Muñoz Ayala, 68, of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ramon passed away on March 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Born on November 2, 1956, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Ramon moved to the United States where he worked at International Auto Body for over 30 years. Known for his remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail, he was highly respected in his field. His warm, loving, and caring nature touched the lives of everyone around him. Ramon's favorite saying, "Oh really?" will forever be remembered by his family and friends as a reflection of his unique humor and engaging personality.

Ramon is survived by his devoted wife Carmen Munoz and his Eighth children. He was a proud grandfather to sixteen grandchildren, who were the light of his life. And he is also survived by his beloved siblings. His legacy of love, laughter, and devotion will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ramon will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

A funeral service to celebrate Ramon's life will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT. Immediate family will gather at 4:00pm, followed by friends from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Condolences may be expressed at Hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
