Paul J. Berzinis, age 70, of Hamden, entered his eternal rest on November 30, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital. His loving finance' Marina Cordeau of Hamden was at his side. Paul was born on March 30, 1955 in

Paul was a force that guided many into the winter world of skiing.  Paul was the leader and New Haven, Connecticut, the son of the late Albin A and Ann Berzinis. He is the cherished brother of Albin P Berzinis of Cottonwood Heights, UT and cousin of Janice Patry of The Woodlands, TX.

Paul was the leader and instigator for so many amazing trips, weekends, ski days and magnificent runs in the woods which left lasting memories. His enthusiasm and drive to get outside and enjoy the world is something that all who knew him will truly miss.  Paul was a private pilot, and many of his friends were fortunate to have flown with him to Nantucket, Block Island, and Martha's Vineyard for beautiful day trips, and fourth of July flights to watch the fireworks. He was a long-time member and past president of the New Haven Ski Club.  He was MC and DJ for countless ski club events where his gift to communicate extemporaneously and "bring down the house" with laughter was always memorable.  Paul was a 1973 graduate of Hamden High School, where he was involved with the band.  He was a member of several bands with his circle of friends after high school, and eventually bass player Peppertree Band for many years.  Paul was most recently employed as a regional quality manager at Unicorr in North Haven.

Paul was a fighter, and never wanted to give up.  He didn't give up; his body gave out. Almost six years after his debilitating stroke he is at peace now, nothing holding him back ever again.
