Norberta Medina was born to the late Celestina Danzot and the late Valerano Pardo in Arroyo, Puerto Rico on May 22, 1931. She departed on May 11, 2021 after sharing her last moments with loved ones.

Norberta was a mom and wife first. She was exceptional at it. She loved caring for her family and loved ones. Norberta played a significant role in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren lives. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, shared family stories, danced, sing songs, shared recipes, and made unforgettable memories with each of her loved ones. She filled every room with smiles and love.

Norberta was predeceased by her parents, Celestina Danzot and Valerano Pardo, her sister Carmen Pardo, and eldest son Carlos Medina. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Juan Medina of New Haven, CT, her children Daniel Medina of North Haven, CT, Jose Medina of Tampa, FL, Juanita Medina of Hamden, CT; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday Morning at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden from 8-9am. Funeral Service will start at the Funeral Home at 9am. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed ay www.hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
