Michael Gerald Aliberti, 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Daniel Island on April 6, 2026. Born on April 1, 1950, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was the beloved son of the late Carmine and Evelyn Aliberti.

Known affectionately as "Pops," Mike enjoyed playing tennis, sharing Italian meals with family and friends, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and took great pride in watching them grow.

Michael is survived by his son, Jeffrey; his daughters-in-law, Erica and Jessie; his grandchildren, Michaela, Oskar, Adelin, and Delilah; and his sister, Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew.

Mike will be remembered for his love of family, his warmth, and the many memories shared with those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT, 06514 on June 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
