Mary A. Turpin, 69, of West Haven, passed away on January 22, 2023, at CT Hospice of Branford. She was born on May 16, 1953 in New Haven, CT., daughter of the late James and Rose (Palmisano) Turpin. She was the beloved sister of Kathleen O'Neil, June Turpin, James (Kathy) Turpin, Thomas (Geraldine) Turpin.Mary was predeceased by one sister Elizabeth Northrup and one brother Phillip Turpin. She was also survived by 10 nieces and nephews. Mary loved music, jewelry, dancing, arts and crafts. Mary enjoyed helping people as a mental health worker at the VA, CVH, Marrakesh and CT. Mental Health. She was a huge animal lover, but what she loved the most was her family. Mary also served in the National Guard.

Wake will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, from 4-7pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, Morning at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home from 10-11am. Funeral Service to begin in the Funeral Home at 11am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
