Martha L. (Ierardi) Lucarelli, 95, of Hamden, passed away on January 27, 2023, at Elim Park in Cheshire.  She was born on June 6, 1927 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late William and Martha (Mongillo) Ierardi.  She was the beloved wife of Pasqual Michael Lucarelli for over 51 years. Loving mother of Patricia (Michael) Valenti of Wallingford, Carol Barolli of Hamden, Marianne Engengro of Hamden, and Barbara Perrotti of East Haven (Frank).  Cherished grandmother of Gina (John) Cessario, Kristen Valenti, Frankie Perrotti, Jenna (Derek) Gartner, Jared Barolli, Christa Lenz, Jaime Perrotti, Ally Engengro.  Also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

Martha, affectionately known as "Babe", loved watching Yankee games and UConn Girls' Basketball.  She was full of life and the most important thing in her life was spending time with family, especially her four daughters and grandchildren.  She had a warm and welcoming way about her that left a lasting impression on everyone that met her.  Martha loved to cook, bake, and entertain.  She made holidays special and created lasting traditions for her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, from 5-7pm. On Thursday February 2, Family and Friends are invited to Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular, Hamden at 11am., for a Mass of Christian Burial.
