Maria Felicita Diaz, of New Haven, age 80, passed away Friday July 5, 2019 at YNHH. She was born and raised in Ponce Puerto Rico on April 11, 1939.  She was a mother, sister, daughter, aunty,fashionista and role model. Maria was surrounded by her 8 children, Domingo Rivera, Angel Rivera, William Rivera, Milagros Rivera Galarza, Ramon Molina-Diaz, Carlos Molina, Annabelle Molina, Leonarda Rodriguez. She was also surrounded by her four sisters, Maria Emilia Diaz Santiago, Luz Maria Diaz. Elba Fiaz Bonaparte, Julia Diaz Santiago, along with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces.
"Family members that past away before her". Her three sisters, Gladys Diaz,  Carmen Diaz, Judy Diaz, and her three brothers Juan Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Papo Diaz and the twins. Mom loved shopping getting her nails done & washing close. We always started our mornings with coffee because she suffered from what she would call "Stomagation," her own created word that meant we needed to get coffee.  Maria Felicita Diaz will be dearly missed and will always be in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home,1300 Dixwell Avenue from 4-8pm. Viewing on Thursday from 9:30am-11am at the funeral home.
