Obituary

Lisa A. Hyland Remington
Lisa passed away peacefully on July 06, 2022. She was born in New Haven, CT. on October 12, 1961 to the late John and Catherine (Marak) Hyland. She was the youngest of 5 children. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert D. Remington Jr. and both of her parents. Lisa is survived by their children, Michael, Rachael, Robert, Olivia and William, her only grandson Nicholas, her mother-in-law Virginia Remington and Anthony DeBaise, Franco Rotino and all of her sisters, brother, nieces and nephews and good friends of the family that loved her.
Lisa lived most of her life and raised all of her kids in Hamden, CT. She got the most enjoyment out of the small things in life, like family dinners, going on walks with family and exploring life with her grandson. She was a wonderful and creative woman who loved doing arts and crafts with her kids and grandson, decorating the house for holidays or just for fun and taking care of all of her plants! She loved her kids and grandson more than anything in the world. To see them happy, made her happy. The smallest of things to some would put a big smile on her face all day long. She really appreciated the little things. She will always be loved and dearly missed.

Family and friends are asked to go directly to church on Friday morning for a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Wallingford. Condolences may be expressed at hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
