It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kevin Joseph Withington Jr, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born December 25 ^th , 1990 in New Haven, despite his handicap, Kevin was the happiest person.  He touched the lives of so many and brought smiles to everyone's face.

Kevin was a sweet man, unbothered by life's worries. He enjoyed playing with squishies, balls and stuffed animals.   He loved spending time dancing, looking at books, and practicing barking skills like his favorite dogs.  He was quite the ladies' man giving the best hugs and sneaking in a quick squeeze here and there.  Kevin always had a smile on his face and loved making people laugh with his favorite saying "F-It!".  Kevin was happiest when he was cuddled with his mom listening to music or watching his favorite episode of Barney while munching on chips and soda.

Kevin enjoyed his respite time at the DDS in Meriden and Middletown. He loved outings and riding on the bus or in the car, music on, window down, wind in his face watching for girls.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Natalie Russo; brother, Mark Whitman; grandparents, Leonard and Sharon Russo; uncle, Lenny Russo and many friends that were like family.  He is pre-deceased by his father, Kevin Withington, grandmother, Veronica Russo; nonnie, Elizabeth Piscitelli.

A memorial service will be held at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT from 6-8pm. Condolences may be expressed at Hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
