Obituary

Kelly Douglas Bolling, at the age of 29, has left this world to return to his eternal home on June 8th, 2023. Kelly was born on July 15th, 1993, in Norwalk, CT, to Irving and Dawn Bolling. He was a beloved brother to Elliott Bolling, a cherished grandson of Iris Nelson, and a dear nephew of Velma and Terry Pridemore, Neville Carnegie, Althea Francis, MaryAnn and Horatio Fox,Colin and Sharon Cobb. He also leaves behind his great aunts & uncles, many cousins and his beloved friends Corey, Ky, Vince,Jaime, Krytriana and Taylor. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and Friends during this difficult time.

Kelly was a humble soul who lived his life with gratitude and respect for all of creation. He was member of the First Congressional Church and found peace and comfort in his worship. Kelly attended Brien McMahon High School and graduated in 2011. He then went to Thomas University, where he received an AA in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies, and continued his education at Southern CT State University, where he received a BA in GS Concentration Journalism & Communication. Kelly's education was a testament to his commitment to  learning and personal growth.

Kelly had a passion for writing and was always eager to share his work with others. He was an independent contractor while pursuing a career in sports reporting and writing short stories. His work was a reflection of his deep love for the written word and his creative spirit.

Kelly was a lover of nature and spent his free time fishing with his father and brother, watching football and other sporting events, and spending time with his beloved animals. He found joy in the simple things in life and appreciated all that he had been given.

A private service for Kelly will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1300 Dixwell Ave, Hamden CT 06514. Kelly's life was a testament to his unwavering faith, his love for his family and friends, and his commitment to living a life of purpose and meaning. His passing has left a void in our hearts, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the loving arms of his Creator. Condolences may bee expressed at Hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
