Jodie Lynn Royer Melton, born 4/21/1973 passed away surrounded by loved ones on 12/18/2019. She leaves behind her husband Greg Melton and their children Jade (age 11) and Jay (age 10). Jodie was an amazing mother, devoted wife, loving sister and a dear friend to many. There was not a fight she was unwilling to fight for that involved the people she loved!  Selfless, Loyal, Loving, Tough and Funny are only a few words used to describe Jodie. She fought tirelessly never backing down about the things she was passionate about! Many were inspired by her dedication and drive to keep on fighting even when it was a losing battle. She loved her family and friends fiercely and was passionate about social justice. Jodie was a truly unique and memorable individual. She was kind and generous in ways that we don't see too often these days. Jodie's sudden loss reminds us to cherish time with our loved ones and to provide support in times of need.
