Joan Mallory, ,79 of East Haven, CT.  passed away this morning after a long battle with her health. Joan leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Curtis Mallory of East Haven, Son, William Asprelli Jr. (Traci Mealy) Of New Haven and Daughter Gina Doheny (Gordon) of Northford CT. and daughter in-laws Rocel Asprelli and Madeline Mallory. predeceased are her parents Vasco (Jack) Biagioli and Rose Biagioli, her son's, Anthony Asprelli, Guy Burr, and Daniel Mallory.

Joan also leaves behind her grandchildren, Christopher Asprelli (Lidia) of CA. , Pam Lubin (Carl) of New York, Angela Marroquin (Robert) of CA., Christopher Acerra of East Haven, and Joey Burr of West Haven. Joan also leaves behind her great grandchildren, Phoebe Asprelli, Penny Asprelli, Christopher Asprelli Jr., Cyrus Asprelli All of California, and Nicolette Lubin of New York.

Joan also leaves her Auntie Lucy Casagrande and cousins Elaine Burr,  Carol Blazo and best friend Grace Twarowski that were like sisters to her, her inlaws Bob Mallory (Kathy) and Virginia Bates as well as many cousins, family and friends that she loved.

Joan loved her family and spending time together. Her laugh was so contagious and she had the biggest heart. If anyone needed something that she had she would always give it to them.

She will be missed so very much by her family and friends but we know that the Lord loves her more than we do and she's with her family that has gone before her until we are all together again.

A wake will be held on Monday May 17, 2021 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home 1300 Dixwell Avenue from 4pm-7pm. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11am-11:30 funeral services will be start at 11:30am Reverend Michael Carbaugh Officiating. Burial will follow at Hamden Plains Cemetery.
