 Jimmy Bradley, Sr.

Jimmy Bradley, Sr. was born on March 14, 1947, in Kingstree, South Carolina, to the late Bessie Shaw and Elijah Bradley. 

Jimmy received his crown on July 8, 2026. He was the owner of Big Jim's Ice Cream Truck and Big Jim's Ice Cream Parlor. He also worked for IHOP (International House of Pancakes) for 28 years before venturing into other careers in life.

He loved fishing and watching Gunsmoke, General Hospital, and Bonanza. Bringing joy to children and adults by serving ice cream was one of his greatest passions.

Ok, At this point, everyone should know the story about the alligator behind the trailer in the swamp. What was the name of the alligator? Charlie...

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Janet Bradley; his son, Jimmy Bradley, Jr.; his daughter, Yvonne Renee Bradley (Milton); his grandchildren Jacqueline Annice Bradley, Lauren Olivia Bradley, and Jacques Lawrence Bradley; his siblings Kelly Bradley (Willie Ann), Dell Bradley, Paul Wolfork (Valerie), and Natalie Greene (Cliff); he will always watch over his great-great-grandchildren Javeon Marcus Maynard, Jaylin Xavier Bradley, and Jace Cole Bradley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Wolfork; his father, Elijah Bradley; his sister, Patricia Bradley; his grandmother, Alma Shaw; and his grandfather, Mott Shaw.

Celebration of Life Viewing: Saturday, July 18, 2026 – 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m.
