Gunwanti O. Singh, 73, of New Haven Connecticut was called home to be one with God on February, 09 2021.
Mom was born on 18th December, 1947 in Mahaica Creek, Guyana. She was the daughter of the late Mamoo Chiraunjie & Punia Harpal.
Gunwanti migrated to the United States of America in 1994 to join her family where she then resided in New Haven, Connecticut.
She is survived by her husband Hurbie O. Singh and was married on May 10, 1963.
She is also a survived by her Five children:
Vibert O. Singh, Bishram O. Singh, Andy 0. Singh, Alvin O. Singh and Angad O. Singh.
Twelve grandchildren:
Avinash Singh, Azaad Singh, Mellesa Singh, Alyessa Singh, Kathryn Singh, Arifa Singh, Shonali Singh, Chelsea Singh, Davin Lall, Isaiah Singh, Jayden Singh and Kelyani Singh.
Six great-grandchildren:
Aydan Sahadeo, Aria Sahadeo, Arielle Singh, Xander Singh, Farina Singh and Tazim Singh.
Gunwanti was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Mom was selfless and always willing to help anyone in need and lived her life according to gods will.
Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom lives in like a legacy of love that will always be with us. May that love surrounds us and brings us peace.
Mother you left us beautiful memories, your love will be our guide and although we cannot see you, you're always at our sides.
Funeral Service for Gunwanti O. Singh will be held at the Hamden Funeral Memorial Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden CT on February 14, 2021 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM then procession to Brookside Crematorium, 453 Christian Ln, Berlin CT 06037 for last rights. Condolences may be expressed at Hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
