George A. Mastroianni Sr., age 76, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday November 21, 2018. Born on December 15, 1941, in New Haven, the son of the late Theodore and Pasqualina (Iuteri) Mastroianni. Loving husband of Andrea (Vollero) Mastroianni of Hamden for over 55 years. Cherished father of Josephine "Joann" Mastroianni Cordero (Orlando) of Wallingford, Theodora "Teddy" Tarquino (Kevin Sr.) of Wallingford, Andrew Mastroianni of Hamden, and George Mastroianni Jr. of Hamden. Beloved grandfather of Kevin Tarqunio Jr., Melissa Tarquino, Kevin Strain, Sherry Strain, Angela Mastroianni, Andrea Mastroianni, and Tabitha Miranda. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 1 niece, and 4 nephews.

Wake will be held Friday night from 4-8 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, from 9-10am.
