George H. Eccleston 8/27/28-2/12/21

George H Eccleston was born in Troy N.Y. Predeceased by his parents George and Lucy Eccleston and sisters Lucille and Florence.

Beloved husband, father and Grampy is survived by wife Betty of 22yrs., son George (Janet) Eccleston, daughter Linda (Peter) Venuti, 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

George was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War serving from 1949-1953 as a Russian Linquest. He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 25yrs.  A patriotic man, his greatest honor was serving as an honor guard for Military Funerals. He was a parishioner of Holy Advent Church in Clinton and a life member of the VFW & American Legion. An avid outdoorsman and a true family man.

A graveside service with full Military honors will be held on Wednesday May 26, 2021, at State Veteran Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane Middletown Ct at 2pm.
