Frankie Joseph
Ferriuolo
Aug 12, 1966 — Jul 18, 2026
In Loving Memory of Frankie Joseph Ferriuolo
Frankie Joseph Ferriuolo was born on August 12, 1966, and peacefully passed away on July 16, 2026, in Clearwater, Florida, where he made his home for many years.
Frankie had a heart of gold and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and gratitude. He had an infectious smile, a generous spirit, and a remarkable gift for making everyone around him feel welcome. His compassion, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family and friends will forever be remembered.
After graduating from Jonathan Law High School in Milford, Connecticut, Frankie moved to Clearwater Florida, where he built a life surrounded by the people and passions he loved.
Frankie had a true passion for cooking and found great joy in sharing meals with those closest to him. He was also a talented craftsman whose signature creations were his beautiful handmade wooden fish. Each one was thoughtfully crafted with love and gifted to family and friends. Receiving one of Frankie’s wooden fish was more than receiving a gift—it was receiving a piece of his heart, a lasting reminder of his generosity and love.
Music was another of Frankie’s greatest passions. A devoted Deadhead for many years, he found joy, comfort, and connection in the music of the Grateful Dead. Their songs became part of the soundtrack of his life and reflected his free spirit, love of community, and appreciation for life’s simple moments.
Frankie was preceded in death by his loving parents, Gaetano “Dickie” Ferriuolo and Joann Somasky.
He is lovingly survived by his four siblings: Theresa Clark, Anthony Ferriuolo, Deborah Ferriola, and Lisa
Ferriola; his brother-in-law, Jonathan Clark Sr.; his nieces, Vanessa Buynack and Josephine Ferriola; his nephew, Jonathan Clark Jr.; his beloved grandnephew, Noah Buynack; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Frankie was a genuinely kind and selfless man whose greatest joy came from spending time with the people he loved. Whether he was preparing a meal, creating one of his handcrafted wooden fish, or simply sharing stories and laughter with family and friends, he lived each day with a grateful heart and a generous spirit.
In one final, deeply meaningful moment, Frankie passed away peacefully while listening to “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” by the Grateful Dead—a fitting farewell for someone who had been a devoted Deadhead for so many years. Though his earthly journey has ended, the love he shared, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain forever.
Frankie will be remembered not only for the beautiful things he made with his hands, but for the beautiful life he lived with his heart. His kindness, generosity, creativity, and unconditional love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.
No longer knocking—welcome home, Frankie.
In accordance with Frankie’s wishes services will be held privately at this time. The family appreciates your love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
