Elaine M. (Tuttle) Sorensen, 83, of Branford, passed peacefully on September 13, 2022, at Gaylord Healthcare of Wallingford. She was born on June 17, 1939, in New Haven, CT., to the late Arthur and Katherine (Crowe) Tuttle. She was the loving wife of the late John Sorensen. Beloved mother of Michele Sorensen of Branford, Paula Lupoli (Craig DeFrancesco) of North Branford, and Mathew Mark (Lena) Sorensen of Hamden. Cherished grandmother of Mia Laguna, Samantha Lupoli (Shaughn), Anthony Michael Lupoli, Rebecca Lupoli (Lauren Warner), Natalia Sorensen, and Marcella Sorensen. Great grandmother of Sophia McGarrell, Benjamin McGarrell, and Cassidy Warner. Also survived by two sisters Janet Martone, Betty Perone; two brothers Edward Tuttle (Helen Pan), William (Theresa) Tuttle, and best friend Carmela Powers. She was predeceased by four brothers Arthur, Harry, Robert, and John Tuttle, brother-in-law David Sorensen, and good friend Barbara Dadio. Elaine loved going to the casino, going to Block Island, but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Elaine also loved her two cats that passed away Thomas and Melissa; and lover her granddaughter cats as like they were her own Allison and Winston.
