Edward Anton Schuler Sr (91) of Meriden, CT passed away on January 22, 2023.

Edward, fondly known as Ed, was born to Anton and Betty Schuler on May 5, 1931 in New Haven, CT.

Ed was the owner of Schuler's Poultry Farm in Hamden which he operated until 1981. Many of his customers knew him as the "Egg Man".

After moving to Meriden, Ed worked for Midstate Medical Center as a courier until retiring at 81.

He was an accomplished pilot, loved automobiles, square dancing and duckpin bowling. He never missed Jeopardy or the Wheel. He was kind hearted and always had a smile.

He is survived by his children, Joanne, Eileen, Ed, Fred, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Ed will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Joan, and parents at Hamden Plains cemetery in a private funeral service. Condolences may be expressed at Hamdenememorialfuneralhome.com.
