Edward Hansen Kaechele of Hamden, CT passed away on October 26, 2023 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Ed deeply loved Barbara his wife of 66 years, and their children (spouses): Susan Ward (Scott), Bruce Kaechele (Debbie), and Lori Allen (Todd), six granddaughters & four great grandchildren. He was born September 22, 1931 in Bridgeport, CT and preceded in death by parents, George & Charlotte Kaechele, and sister, Barbara Riley.

Ed lived a life of faith and service to his Lord and Savior and pastored three congregations. He served in the Navy on the submarine USS Torsk. He took great pleasure in watercolor painting, traveling, the ocean, and reading.

Celebration: Hamden Memorial, Thursday, Nov 2, 2023, visiting 10:15, service 11:00. Burial will follow at Grove St. Cemetery, New Haven.
