Edward John Camposano, 84, passed away Sunday, October 25th 2020 at his home. Eddie was born in New Haven on June 24th 1936, son of the late Anthony and Ann (née Ruotolo) Camposano. Predeceased by his siblings, Mildred (John) Minichino, Eugene (Ginny) Camposano and Robert (Ann) Camposano. He leaves his wife Martha (née Antollino ) Camposano, children Michelle (Robert) Vallombroso of New Haven, Nicolle Camposano of Branford and Edward (Jackie) Camposano Jr. of Northford, grandchildren Robert Vallombroso Jr., Sydney Vallombroso and Luciano Camposano, and several nieces and nephews. Eddie served in the US Army and the National Guard Reserves. Eddie was a hairdresser and the owner of Prima Donna Hair Salon in East Haven and Edward John's Hair Concepts of Hamden. He was later employed by the City of New Haven in the building department. Eddie was a world traveler and a lover of music and the arts, especially Frank Sinatra. He loved painting, playing the piano and going to Broadway shows.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 28th 2020, 5:00-8:00pm at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Bernadette Church on October 29th 2020 at 11am followed by a burial with military honors at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
