Obituary

E. Lance Wetmore, age 83, of Bethany, entered into eternal life on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 4, 1938 in New Haven, CT., the son of the late Elton and Dorothy (Moore) Wetmore. The beloved husband of Martha (Taylor) Wetmore of Bethany. Loving father of Jennifer (Randy) Borruso, Melissa (Thomas) Lambrecht, and Shauna (Lawrence) Perry. Cherished grandfather of Joey Borruso, Taylor Borruso, Morgan (Danny) Boothroyd, Montanna Lambrecht, and Megan Cusano. Also survived by two great grandchildren Trenton Boothroyd, Audrey Mae Boothroyd, and one brother-in-law John Taylor. Lance was an avid outdoorsman, his passion was to cut wood, but what he loved the most was to train horses.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 5, 2021 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will start at 8pm. A Celebration of life will be held May 8, 2021 at Bethany Veterans Lodge and Pavilion, 265 Beacon Road, Bethany Ct., from 1-5pm for food and refreshments. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CT Morgan Horse Association or One Big Dog Animal Respite Fund, 135 Bradley Road, Woodbridge, CT., 06525.
