Cedric Leonard Goodwin, took his eternal rest on Saturday January 25, 2025. Born to the late Herbert Gripper and Madelyn Goodwin. Cedric was loved by everyone that knew him. He was loving, caring and full of life. His laugh alone would make your day better. He leave to cherish his memories, his mother Madelyn Goodwin. Daughter Cenyi Goodwin, and a daughter that has yet to be born. 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 3 nieces and 3 nephews all of New Haven, CT. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, family and friends that loved him. He is pre-deceased by his father Herbert Gripper, maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles. Cedric will forever be missed in the hearts of those that loved him.

The viewing for Cedric will be held on Thursday January 30, 2025 from 8:30am - 10:00am at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT. A ceremony of his life will be held at Masjid Al-Islam Mosque 624 George Street New Haven, CT at 11:00am. Burial precession will follow the ceremony at the mosque.
