Cecelia L. Caldeira, age 78, of New Haven, passed away on December 1, 2023 peacefully at her home with loving family by her side. She born April 10, 1945 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Charles and Lydia Medeiros. Cecelia is the loving mother of  Louis (Ester) Caldeira, Donna Caldeira, George Caldeira, Melissa (Jason) Borelli. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George Caldeira of 61 years. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Louis, Christopher, Dominic, and Isabel. She was predeceased by 3 sisters Nancy Medeiros, Margaret Tavares, and Mildred Medeiros Kikas. Cecelia worked at Waldbaums/Superfood Mart/A&P from September 1987-November 2010. Besides spending time with her family, Cecelia also loved playing video games and watching WWE.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, from 9am-10:30am. Funeral Services will start at 10:30am in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com
