Barbara R. (West) Kunst, age 74, of Hamden, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side. Born on August 11, 1944, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Howard and Kitty (Gordon) West. Loving wife of Albert Kunst of Hamden for over 34 years. Beloved mother of Lisa (Erik) Wohlert of Guilford, Scott Douglass of Waterbury, Heidi Kunst of Madison, and Albert (Kristen) Kunst of Branford. Cherished grandmother of Sebastian and Cameron Kunst both of Branford. Loving sister of Howard (Mary Smeriglio) West of Guilford. Also survived by three nephews Jesse, Adam, and Cord West. Barbara liked to read, but what she loved the most was her husband and her family.
