Barbara Anne Pearse-Mabery was born on November 24, 1960, in Tarboro, NC. God called her home on January 6, 2026, at the tender age of 65. Barbara Anne Attended Richard C. Lee High Schol, then went on to obtain long term employment of 26 years at the Omni hotel based in New Haven, Ct. In Barbara's spare time she loved fishing and playing cards with her close family and friends. Barbara was a beautiful soul whose laughter could light up a room! She was loved by many and showed love back to those around her!

She leaves behind her Husband and long-time partner Whit Mabery 36 years of love 21 years of marriage. Two children, Tameka and Enos Pearse, a son-in-law Preston Wright and a daughter in law Courtney Taylor.  7 grandchildren: Tanasia, Shante, Presaria, Presadez, Preshayla, Emiya and Eveyon, plus 6 great grandchildren and an honorary granddaughter Shaniece and her 3 beautiful children. She also leaves behind 2 brothers Willie Pearse and George Everett.

She is predeceased by parents Jessie Everett Sr. and Annie Belle Everett. As well as 3 brothers Jessie Jr., Joseph, and John Everett. She also leaves behind a few close cousins Ernest Harvey, Dena, Karen, and Linda Draughn, 2 nephews and a niece, a host of other cousins and additional family members, plus all her special friends at the Omni hotel. Her love will forever live on for everyone that she knew! May she Rest In Peace, and we all find solace in knowing she is no longer suffering! She will live on forever in our Hearts!

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026  at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06514. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM.
