In Loving Memory of Anthony Francis (Joseph) Ross Sr.
Anthony Francis (Joseph) Ross Sr. 52, of North Haven, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on August 6th,2026 at Connecticut Hospice, surrounded by loved ones.
Anthony was born on August 18th 1973 in Derby, CT to the late Francis Ross and Michelle (Hart) Ross. Throughout his life, Anthony was known for his undying love of the Dallas Cowboys, his sense of humor and hard work ethic.
Anthony earned his GED and enjoyed his career for the majority of his life at Arts Tv and Appliance whose owner Andy Ciccio was a long-time friend. He took great pride in painting when he was employed by Pettinellla Painting and remodeling as well.
Those who knew Anthony will remember him for his generosity and his ability to always make light of situations. He especially enjoyed drawing, camping trips, watching comedy movies with his family, playing with his beloved dogs Taper, Mollie and Jesse James and fishing/crabbing with his son Anthony Jr.
Anthony is survived by Tina Ross, his beloved son Anthony Ross Jr (Emily Beimler) his daughter Kelsey Snedeker, his mother Michelle Ross, Sisters Andrea (Jim) Hunt, Melody Ross and Christy Moon, four grand children, six nieces, two nephews and many cherished friends he’s gained along the way.
He was preceded in death by his father Francis Ross, his maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.
A visitation service will be held on August 21st, 2026 at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home from 4pm to 7pm. Family and friends are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating Tony’s life.
Anthony will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
A wake will be held on Friday August 21, 2026 from 4pm-7pm at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT. Condolences may be expressed at Hamdenmemorialfuneralhome.com.
