Andrew (Andy) J. Saldamarco, age 83 of East Main Street Clinton passed away Tuesday, December 1 ^st at his home. He was the husband of Jean (McGinnis) Saldamarco. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Matilda Boni Saldamarco. Andy was born in Derby, Connecticut January 9, 1937. Before his retirement he owned and operated Saldamarco's Italian Deli in Clinton. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Gina (Keith) Soldra of Orange, two stepdaughters Karin Patrie of Saint Johns and Raina Margiano of Atlanta, Georgia. One brother Louis Saldamarco of Seymour, one sister Sylva Saldamarco of Shelton.  Also survived by seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Mary's Church, 212 Elizabeth Street, Derby Tuesday December 8 at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. Saint Peter's Cemetery Derby. Friends may call at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Avenue, Derby, Monday December 7 from 3pm -5pm. Face mask and social distancing will be required at the funeral home and the church. Funeral arrangements have be entrusted to Carl Swan of Hamden Memorial Funeral Home 1300 Dixwell Avenue Hamden.
