Adrian Albert Stevens, 42, of 1773 Brookview Road, Castleton, New York passed away peacefully at his residence on March 3, 2019. Son to the late Catherina Johanna Susara Janse Van Vuuren of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Brother to his late Mitchell Paul Stevens. Adrian's father Archiebald Mitchell Stevens currently resides in the town of his birthplace in Uitenhage, South Africa. Adrian's youngest brother Shawn Stevens resides in Uitenhage as well. Vanessa Jaycie-Anne Van Rensburg is the eldest sister and resides in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Adrian was born into his family in Oudtshoorn, South Africa. He attended Exelsior Hoerskool where he was fortunate to live with his Principal and English teachers (Koos and Catina Nagel). Adrian then studied art at Tegnikon van die Oraje-Vrystaat before eventually earning a degree in Computer Sciences from Damilin University in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He worked at Telkom in Bloemfontein, South Africa just prior to moving to America. Adrian had dreamed of moving to America which he finally did in 2003. He initially worked in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Gerten Greenhouses and Garden Center. In 2004, he moved to Connecticut and then eventually New York. He is survived by his son Tyler Mitchell Stevens who lives in Hamden, CT with his mother Kimberly Ann Mitchell-Stevens. He will be dearly missed, our liefling.
